On Thursday, January 23, 2020, CMS held its annual Spelling Bee. The following students participated and did incredibly well. On Thursday, January 16 from 5:45 to 7:30, CMS will hold an information session for parents of incoming 6th graders. The linked slideshow will be discussed, and time will be allotted for a tour and questions.

Congratulations to CMS 8th grader, Saketh Sundar, for being one of eight co-winners of this year's Scripps National Spelling Bee! This was his fourth trip to the National Spelling Bee, and by winning, he becomes the first winner from the state of Maryland. His winning word was "bougainvillea." All of CMS is so proud of Saketh and his accomplishment!
