Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Menus
Clarksville Middle School's school menu can be accessed through the LINQ Connect portal or mobile app. Families do not need a LINQ account to view menus, which are available to the public.
Free and Reduced Meals (FARMs)
HCPSS participates in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs. Students from households that meet federal income guidelines are eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals. Parents/guardians must submit a new application every school year to maintain their studentâs eligibility. To apply, go to the HCPSS FARMs webpage.
Prices
Breakfast and lunch are free for students who are enrolled in the Free and Reduced Meals program. For all other students, breakfast is $2.00 and lunch is $3.30 per meal.
Payment
Meal payments may be made via credit card using the LINQ Connect portal. On-site payments and prepayments may be made using cash or check. Parents/guardians will need to create an account to make online payments to their childâs meal account, monitor their childâs account, schedule automatic recurring payments, set up low balance alerts, submit a Free and Reduced Meals program application, and more.

Immunization Requirements
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CURRENT 6TH GRADE STUDENTS: The immunization requirements in Maryland have been updated to include 1 dose of Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) and 1 dose of MCV4 (Meningitis) for students entering 7th grade. Again, this information is intended for students who are currently in 6th grade. Please do not wait to take care of this matter until your child is returning to school next August 2022 as a 7th grader. If we DO NOT receive proof of immunization, your child will be excluded from school on the first day of 7th grade. Please discuss this requirement with your child's physician if you have additional questions.
Hearing and Vision Screenings for 8th Grade and New to Maryland Students on Tuesday, January 24
The Howard County Health Department will administer the annual Hearing and Vision screenings for all 8th grade students on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Additionally, all students new to the state of Maryland will also be screened. An information letter will be sent home for your review. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the health room at 410-313-5610.
Our Health Room Needs Your Help! Cell Phone Policy as it relates to Sick Students
Students who become ill while at school must come to the health room to be evaluated. Please discuss with your student that he/she should not use his/her cell phone to call/text parents for pick-up during the school day. Students who feel ill should report directly to the health room and parents will be contacted, as needed, once students are seen by our nurse.
If your child calls/texts you during the school day, please tell him/her to go to the health room and the staff will contact you directly. Thank you so much for your attention to this matter and for working with us to keep your child healthy and safe.
If you have any questions, please contact Megan Seaman, RN (Cluster Nurse) at 410-313-5610.

Accident and Medical Insurance
Accident Insurance
The school system does not carry medical insurance for accidents that occur at school, including non-sport related injuries, such as trips and falls, physical education injuries, and recess/playground injuries. Thus, parents are encouraged to enroll students in the accident insurance program offered through HCPSS.
